/ 2001 Archives: Part 7 was up every one
told me to tell u and the guys hi. Howdy everyone! I
became an immediate fan when y'all performed at Rutgers Prep for the music
building dedication. I heard y'all perform for the middle school, I'm
one of the students there, and you guys are so cool! I wished I could
have been there the next day so I could get some CD's, groan groan. Anyway,
I was wondering at which retail stores sell your CD's so I can share them
with everyone I know? The Woodford Singers
and I went and saw the Bobs in Georgetown, KY last night and all I have
to say is that, as usual, the concert was awesome. I have never seen a
group or band that is as dedicated to their work as the Bobs are, and
none that love their fans as much. I've been to two concerts, and both
times they have come out and signed everything anyone wanted to sign,
took pictures, and met anyone who wanted to meet them. That dedication
is extremely cool and the fans are truly grateful for it. Anyways, I just
wanted to say how great it is to have a group out there who actually care
about their fans. And on a side note: Joe Bob rocks my socks, he's the
best. =] I saw you guys at
rutgers prep about a week ago and i thought you guys were rockin.Ive never
seen a accopela group and it was ver diffrent fromthe type of music i
perform. thank for coming to rutgers. tim coyle (oppslick@aol.com) Hey. I saw you guys
perform on Saturday at RPS! My dad went there and is on the board so I
go to everything. But you guys were great. I went to school on Monday
with the CDs Coaster and I Brow Club with me so that I could make my friends
listen to them. They loved it! Fluffy's Master Plan For World Domination
went over the best. You have been installed as official Mounties (official
members of Mount Saint Mary Academy). Hope the see you perform again next
time you're in the Jersey area. I'll be sure to bring my friends next
time. I was at last night's
"workshop"/concert, ("When's the break?")and had a jolly good time. Just
what I needed! You folks are terrific. I had heard recordings prior to
last night's show and admired your work/fun. Keep it up! We need more.
Have you ever tried to cover any of the Cirque Du Soleil tunes? You would
do an awesome job. I read a positive
review (that ought to tell you something!) in the Dallas paper about a
just-released CD (at that time) called "The Bobs Sing the Songs Of..."
The reviewer was going nuts over the vocal solo in "Whole Lotta Love"
so I went out and purchased the disk. I've been a Bobs fan ever since.
Wish you would come to Texas so I can see you live again. I saw one Bobs
concert & it was outstanding. Every time I listen to one of your CDs it
amazes me just how good you guys are. Please keep putting out albums-
there can never be enough Bobs. Hey Bobs-heard (and
thoroughly enjoyed you) for the first time here in St. Louis a few weeks
back. Been out of the music/concert loop for too long. Thanks to you all
I'm getting back in. My 3 year old daughter(her 1st concert) enjoyed you
as well. Fell in love with Richard Bob's voice. What a treat your concert
was for both my funny bone and my ears. Come back soon. The Bobs are a very
talented band. They have my respect and eternal gratitude for their hours
of entertaining songs. Please come back to
the Portland, OR area soon!! hi every-bob-y. question...actually
two...have you (addressing the BOBS) ever thought of do in an album of
musical numbers? like from brodway? and exactly how many albums do you
have out? i think i have a couple of them...not sure. Hey there Bobs and
Friends of Bobs! You guys totally rock. I was first introduced to the
magic of Bobness in 1991 when my high school choir director played selections
from "My, I'm Large" for us to emphasize the incredible things that can
happen when a singing group of whatever size has perfect harmony and awesome
tight rhythm, and I've been absolutely in love ever since. Unfortunately,
most of the Bobness I've dug so much over the years has been getting harder
and harder to find, even when attempting to order it specially from music
stores or whatnot. Most of what I have now comes from specialty radio
shows and the like, but I'd really really love to get ahold of those albums
that fostered my original love for the Bobs back when I was a mere teen.
Any ideas? I recently attended a week-and-a-half conference in upstate
NY where a new friend of mine, miracle of miracles, had managed to produce
a copy of "My, I'm Large" and I spent nearly all my free time suctioned
onto it, digging the tunes. I Love You guys!!!!Please
Please, Please will u contact me at my mail address, so i can carry on
hearing about u guys!living in the uk i dont to hear much so it would
be great if you could keep me informed on up and coming events! Thanks
a lot!! Hi! I remember hearing
(and loving) "My Baby Loves Trash" many years ago. Heard you guys again
last fall on Gene Shay's (Philly) folk music show and visited your website,
bought your live and with ISO videos, and just got your DVD. Spent the
best part of yesterday viewing and singing along. THANKS, GUYS! You brighten
my life and lessen my load - keep up the GREAT work! I love you guys! When
are you going to come back to IN????? I have loved your
music for years, but had lost my only copy of "The Best of the Bob's."
I need another one! Is it possible!! I saw the group perform
in 1992 and have loved them ever since. There are songs I listen too over
and over. Friends have asked about the songs when they are over and have
purchased CD's also. You guys are the greatest thanks for the laughs!!!!
Sold my soul to Beelzebob.
Com'on down to Tucson for another visit. If you're gonna burn it might
as well be here. I was raised hearing
the Bobs sing. Now, nearly 20 years later, I'm singing A Cappella; imagine
that! My range was expanded by trying to sing the bass line to Cowboy
Lips and upper range by... well, my soprano range. The Bobs still rule.
Thanks for the inspiration! my good friend, alex,
got me started on The Bobs, and i haven't been able to stop listening to
their crazy, but awesome songs. anywayz, i'd like to know when the bobs
are coming back to california. i missed the McCabes (i think that's how
you spell it...) Guitar Shop concert and i'm really mad at myself for
doing so...i don't know where to go from there...uh...
