I am reconnecting to the Bobs in my new 56k incarnation with a new email name. Have been a fan since I saw Bobs do a short set for an information technology conference organized by Mike Hammer in Stamford, Ct back in 1987(more or less). I somehow felt that in that audience of 300 people, I was the only one who saw the true genius behind "Banana Love".

I bought the Christmas album on a whim from Rounder. Saw a (short) free show in Columbus OH - my girl (1st grade) and I were electrified with each song! Bought the Plugged album at that show. Gonna get all of them one by one . . . .

It's me, Helmet Boy. Great show in Johnstown Saturday! We missed the first couple songs because we got lost. Boy, it was frustrating. Remember to keep coming to the Pittsburgh area. We love you there.

Been one of my fav bands since I first caught a cut on a San Fran community station in '85. Both times that the BOBs have played Tampa (to less than a stellar crowd), I asked other people at the Performing Arts Center, where they played, if they had ever heard of the BOBs. One out of five had heard of them, the rest thought they were a barber shop type group. Great shows both times and everyone enjoyed. Come back again!!

Two most unexpected appearances of the Bobs in my life: 1. Scanning through the credits of "Surf Ninjas," thinking I wonder who did that excellent Barbara Ann cover? I just about forehead-palm-slapped myself unconscious. 2. My wife, a devoted hater of things a cappella (don't ask me why, shows up one day with tickets for you guys/ISO/ Brothers Karamazov in Port Townsend, WA. What can I say? It was excellent! Superb!

We love the new album (sorry-CD) especially the song about the postal worker. We have a good friend who works for the postal service and we like to give him a lot of grief about it. Thanks. Could you please come to the midwest soon? We need a BOBS fix!!!

WAAAAAH! Had tickets for your show at Northern Ky Univ., was ready to come the 75 miles from Lexington, but 15 inches of snow closed the U. and kept me Bobs-free in central Ky. The concert was practically the only event in Ky. to go on as scheduled ... I know you had to do the date and move on, I'm sure it was great, sorry I wasn't there...hope the bookstore show in Columbus was good too, sounds like it should have been fun. If you ever play Lexington, there is a mega-bookstore that would be a proper venue for you called Joseph-Beth Booksellers (Stephen King stopped there on a tour of independent booksellers, and he only stopped at 10 places in the entire nation). I'll set it up, handle all the details once someone books the concert. (I'd try for the Kentucky Theater, the art-house concert venue downtown ... Rupp Arena is too large and our local Opera House hosts some touring shows but doesn't have good enough sound). Anyway, I missed ya, guess I seriously threatened my claim as #1 FOB in Ky because I'm such a snow weenie ... will be watching the bookings for when you're coming near again ... I'll go see you in Louisville KY, or even my own Lexington of course .... Cincinnati Ohio; Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga TN; and even certain places in Indiana, W. Va., N. Carolina....I'll be flexible. Can't wait to see you perform again!

My music collection would never be complete ( and of course it keeps growing ) without another Bobs CD on the shelf. Actually they don't stay on the shelf for too long. Simply too many catchy and absolutely bizarre tunes to stay away from them for long.

Thanks to all of you who visit here, sign here, buy our records and come to the shows. Especially Todd, whose name and bizarre request for "salted peanuts" appears further down this list. We bobs had a great weekend in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Columbus. Many thanks to the folks who filled the halls, and the ones who fed us and kept us out of the cold. How 'bout we do it again... in the fall?

Have been a fan for some time. Was wondering about the fan club newsletter. There was going to be one mailed out sometime ago, I got email about it. Never got the newsletter. On the other hand, I suppose mailing lists get hosed sometimes. <grin> Always interested in what you all are doing. Saw you in Berkeley before Christmas, and loved the show. Lori has already fit in with the group!

Saw you guys at NKU last night. I laughed so hard I spilled my soda and barfed up my pretzels. Actually it was truly fortuitous - the guy in front of me was bald - his wife thanked me - she said it made him look 15 years younger. I think Lori is really gorgeous. I think I'm in love with her. It's not merely physical - I felt our souls link as she sang. Really!! Do you have any nude pictures of her that you could send? Thanks a lot - My Karma ran over my Dogma, too! ...Don

Just saw your concert at NKU. It was great. You guys are really funny. Come back to Dayton/Cincinnati SOON! Tomorrow I plan to light my fire in my leisure suit with my cowboy lips. Right now I'm in a purple haze from my vapor carioca. Probably a result of the nose- ring in my soup.Have to run...time to kill the television. Great job!
