Just wanted to say that I think you guys are freaking AWESOME. Our jazz choir at Meadowdale High School has performed two of your songs, Elwood Decker and Spontaneous Human Combustion. I had the solo on SHC. ;) "They were kissing in a crowded mall..."

I listen to you guys all the time. I like the music that you sing. I've got only one of your cd's, but I've heard your other cd's. Your music gives me a good imagination.I heard you guys are going to have a concert at Kansas City. I'm planning on going.

Maya says hi! to gita(lori). I guess Maya knew Lori from when she taught at Mt.Madonna school. She says something about choir and 'dorm mom'. I don't know. Anyway, we can't let the rest of you feel bad that you don't know us, so hi to the lot of you! But, I digress... You might recall my friend and I. We were at your concert in Santa Cruz the time before last, when we were dancin' in the front row, and Matthew had to look away during 'unchain my heart'. I honestly don't know what this is all about. I'm just sitting in the library in the school I'm at, waiting for my friend Ficus the flaming cow to finish downloading stuff using the school's really fast connection. He's written letters to the lot of you before, and I guess I felt obligated, so that you wouldn't think I don't like you. 'Cause I do like you. Or at least, I like your music. I've never really met any of you, so I don't know if I like you as people or not. Although, I'd guess that in order to sing the songs ya'll sing, you'd need a pretty good sense of humor. Ficus is making odd faces. I suppose I should keep it short, but then again, that wouldn't be any fun. I'd just like to say that I'm not writting this under the influence of drugs. I'm totally sober. I just need more sleep, and less caffeine in my blood system. Well, the server is about to shut down. So I guess I'll have to say "Bye,bye!" Have fun with your 'Bobness' I suppose. We shall mail more at a better time. Until then, just remember 'Don't die, it's bad!'

Since I moved here from Virginia, I have been bereft of Bobs. Please let me know WHEN YOU ARE COMING UP NORTH! I was on your mailing list - please put me back on again - my new address is 194 Summerfield Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06610

I became a rabid, wide-eyed, drooling Bobs fan in 1985, when they opened at Berklee Performance Center in Boston for the Nylons. When I was unable to afford the super red hot FOBS membership, media blackout and despondency followed. Then, ten years later, on a frigid night at Harvard University, there they were, performing under the Aegis of "World Music" (put THAT in your pipe and smoke it, Ladysmith Black Mambazo!). Changed, to be sure, (what DID happen to Gunnar anyway?), the music was still incredible, right up to the third, hoarse encore. Can't wait to see you live again, but in the meantime I'll keep up my search for a bona fide LP copy of "Songs for Tomorrow Morning"!

Waiting anxiously for Lori-Bob to visit Fresno, and Roger Rocka's Music Hall! We promise that the road will not be repaired while you are here, causing you inconvenience like it did last time you were here! BUT, there are some neat plays coming up, which means plenty of prop interaction with the set! Also looking forward to the next album (if you still call them that)! And don't forget, we need a song about rollercoasters!

My brother-in-law(Bud Livers)was Gunnar's roommate in college. He introduced me to you guys very early in your careers. I was searching the WWW for Bob's Stores and came across your web site. I was really excited to revisit my memories of you. I like the bonus of the ability to read your lyrics. I am so happy that I have somewhere to turn for my fill of the BOBS! Michael Merline
