June 1997 I saw a copy of the CASA catalogue at a friend's house, saw your stuff, and decided to go buy a CD. The only one left at the store was Shut Up & Sing, so I bought it and loved it!!!! Are you guys coming to Columbus? Also, are BOBS hip to Moxy Fruvous? If so, the two groups should do a tour together.. it'd be awesome!!!!! Keep the great Acapella coming! (My Favorite BOBS song = something in my ear)

The Rice-A-Roni people lie. As that fabulous online concert clearly showed, THE BOBS are really the San Francisco Treat.

I've seen you guys preform once on the Somthers Brothers Show and once when you were in Maine in April. Your act was so neat! You really sounded like a whole band playing with different instruments. I was really impressed with Purple Haze. My brother loves Jimi Hendrix, so I know what the recording sounds like. I also liked Particle Man and Spontaneous Human Combustion. (I go around singing those every once in a while now.) I think you guys are really talented and I am a HUGE fan. Also, when I saw you, I liked the steel guitar in the country-western song you did. You guys HAVE to come back to Maine and see us again. Oops! Gotta run. Someone spontaneously combusted on the street. I have to go clean it up. All my adoration, Annie Lyn Brown, age 15

Greetings, a capella denizens. Frustrated Bob-wanna-be here. But of course they had to pick a WOMAN. And of course she had to be GORGEOUS, so of course I can't be upset. If you recall, I teach High School choir at Meadowdale High in Lynnwood (north of Seattle), WA and my jazz choir just loves singing Spontaneous. In fact, Elwood Decker has been the 4-part blend test section of the audition process for the jazz choir for two years running. Double in fact, we'd like to record it on our standard end-of-the-year-first-time-ever-my-isn't-this-a-long-hyphenated-expression-CD. Will you allow it? May I pay royalties? I am sure the kids wouldn't mind sacrificing a goat or capuchin or something to appease the copyright gods. I will abide by any decision you make...except for the fact that it's on DAT already...we just haven't pressed the discs yet. I wanted to pay respects to the new Godfathers of a capella first and make sure it's OK with you. If it is, we'd love you to hear how the Northwest phenomoenon of vocal jazz choirs takes on your material. I've converted them all (we caught you at Green River CC in Auburn in March ... on our way back from another festival). Thanks for existing and continuing to pump out the chords and sarcasm I love so much.

Welcome, Lori! Now that I've been nice, when will you convince Matthew to pack you all in his luggage on his next trip to Scotland? And why don't you do a show over here while you're all over the pond anyway? I've now been to California *THREE* times and missed the concert dates *EVERY SINGLE* time. Bad planning or a new conspiracy theory - the truth is out there... somewhere. Looking forward to the new album very much. Mike

Once upon a time, I was at work at about midnight, working on a recalcitrant piece of code and thinking that I was alone in the building--which meant that I had *My, I'm Large* on the headphones and was singing along with the bass line. Somewhere near the climax of "My Shoes" a then-new coworker heard strange noises coming from down the hall...and upon investigation, he found me loudly bum-bum-da-da-ing away. I'm happy to say that he didn't think I should be committed, and that he has become a serious Bobs fan. Thanks for providing me and lots of other people with great joy.

Hi guys! Well, I just got a new Win95 computer a week ago, and after dealing with the screen reader headaches... Guess where the first place I went to on the Web was to hear RealAudio? Yup...had to hear the SF Bobs show! That was great fun. Almost as much fun as going to the show in Austin! BTW, my friend Dave tells me that Boxing Day (26th December) is actually the day you put all your unwanted Christmas presents back in the boxes and take them back to the store. Sounds like a good enough reason for a holiday to me!

My whole family loves the Bobs. My brother who listens to stuff my parents can't stand will sing along with my mom to the Bobs songs. Warm fuzzies all around. There's a good time waiting every time I pop the Bobs in the machine. Thanks!

I hope HTML is allowed. If so, a nifty little photo of the Bobs backstage before their gig at Great America Music Hall in San Francisco will appear. And if THAT works, then I will send a couple more. Like one of Lori Bob in her pink cowboy boots, pink cowboy petticoat, and pink Cowboy Lips. The show was fabulous! Here goes!
