I'm a singer, so I really appreciate the talent that you guys have. I own all of your CD's and I really enjoy listening to them. Between you, Rockapella, and now The Real Group, my life is filled with accapella music. I just recently joined a vacal group that mixes it up between vocal pop and jazz. It really feels good to be singing again!! Keep up the good work!

March 24 saw you at Orchestra Hall in Chicago - I and some 50 of my high school vocal jazz students very much enjoyed your sound and that of Zap Mama. Let us know when you, again, will be venturing toward the MidWest.

HI!! Heard ya for the first time 2 nites ago . . . just kidding, 3 nights ago, for the first time. Very, very, cool! Purple Haze was awesome. Joe Bob got some great sound effects stuff going on there. I got a ticket for the concert (like many of my fellow chorusers) from our choir director, who's been a FOB for quite a while now. Now he's got all of us that went turning into FOBS. In my opinion, (if you care to hear it), there were too many adults there and not enough high-schoolers like us. These people should wake up and listen to some love songs! You guys are great. Come back to Chicago again real soon!

Dear Guys and Gloria too, My mom and I recently went to your concert at the Spokane Metropolitan Opera House, on 3/22/97. I have to tell you, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I mean, I'm into a capella a little bit, but my musical interests usually lie in heavy metal. And my mom was dragging me to this, so I didn't know whether or not I was going to enjoy you show....I HAD A BLAST!!! Joe kept trying to get the audience to sing "Awwwemaway Awwemaway". I finally broke down and was one of the people in the audience to actually start singing. I enjoyed all your songs and your kookiness. It was extremely cool. I especially liked it when you sang that industrial-speed metal-ska punk-techno- trip hop version of Bird On A wire. And speaking of cover songs, I loved your Particle Man by They Might Be Giants. This is one of my favorite groups and all-time favorite song. I personally think your version should be our new national anthem. But I'm rambling....Blah,blah,blah.... Anyway, if you haven't fallen asleep yet, I just want to reitterate that you guys are cool. I also actually have a couple suggestions: For a new song, The Balcony People. Joe kept refering to the people up there, so I don't know... I hope he doesn't develop (or have) some sort of complex about them... and if you do pick my title, I wouldn't mind a prize or two, but you don't have to. I just want to help you out. Oh yeah, my second suggestion: you guys may or may not do another cover album, but whatever you decide to do, a song you should consider making an a capella song is Sheik's Walk by Southern Culture On The Skidz. It's a song off the album "For Lovers Only" and is in a similar vein to particle man. Very Silly. Plus, it has a nifty little ditty for song, and I would like to see what your creative minds could do with it. Tell Gloria that I like her hair when it's in her face, so she looks kinda like a cross between Cousin It and Kurt Cobain. And you're right, Richard, she does have nice legs. Taking up 2.4 Gigs of Hard Drive with this letter, Aaron

Thanks for the music! Strange thing---my friends and I were "Bobs" back in high school (late 70's-early 80's). We were all singers, and we all took the name "Bob". Was there some kind of cosmic event going on?

I've been following you guys (not literally--I'm not a stalker) for about 15 years now and it's great to see you on line. It adds an entire new dimension to the experience. Come back to Santa Cruz soon. I am very eager to see the group with Lori Bob. I caught your Christmas show in Irvine last December. Thanks

I teach Choral Music in San Antonio. Am thinking about bringing some of my Jazz Choir kids to see you when you come to Austin. I hope the UT kids are ready for you. If not, I'm sure that most of them can afford the resulting therapy. Saw you the last time you were in Ft. Worth. Great show. Hope I can get my kids to experience you.
