Just got back from the great concert in Beaver Creek. Have you caught your collective breaths yet? Lori Bob was great - no need to be nervous. I was really looking forward to a little 3rd world country (we do get so little of that here), but I guess I can wait until next time. Please come again soon.

My boyfriend is putting together a bus plunge scrapbook (yes, we know it is a sick hobby). Thanks to your cool website, he will be able to include the lyrics to the Bus Plunge song. We always enjoy seeing your shows when you come to Lawrence or Kansas City, and we celebrated Christmas with "Too Many Santas!"

Hey you guys! Yo Joe Bob! This is that crazy red head that met you all when you did the show in Hershey Pennsylvania. I hope yall are doin good, and that everything is great. Im sorry Matt, I had to wash off the autograph that you signed on my arm. And I must say that I have lived a happy and fufilled life after seeing you guys in concert, and dancing on stage with yall. It was a spiritual experience, and it made me want to sit in a tub full of eggnog. With a turban on. Speaking of, that would make a good song. "Im just sittin in the tub with my turban on, getting soaked with eggnog." (Any possibiliteis?) See ya later! And Rich- you remind me of limbo- how low can you go?

I am a new fan of the Bobs. I became a fan after hearing them perform in the movie "For Better or Worse" and seeing them perform at Jason Alexander's New Year's Celebration at the Alex Theater. Yes, I am a big Jason Alexander fan. I've been one since I saw him in the 1995 remake of Bye Bye Birdie. Anyway, seeing the Bobs perform live was incredible. I was really impressed and found their music to be very enjoyable. They are extremely talented individuals. I have purchased a couple Bobs compact discs and enjoy listening to them. I look forward to obtaining additional CDs and getting the opportunity to see the Bobs perform live again soon.

I saw the Bobs at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania back in September. The Student Union there had no idea what they were getting when they booked the Bobs for "comedy night." A few of us a cappella folks from Penn State made the two hour drive down to IUP and had a great time listening and talking with the Bobs. Heck, the stand-up comedian who went on before them wasn't bad either! (Plus he showed all us white people how to dance) I hope the Bobs are out on the East Coast more often!

Castro Valley, CA USA - Sunday, January 12, 1997 at 15:50:12 (PST)

yo, gang. great site! i have a long, pointless, and barely amsuing story to tell you. i caught the lonesome pine speicial show when ya'll were on it with iso, and was completely overwhelmed by "my shoes" (and amused by matthew bob's aparent inability to remember when to jump off the stairs). in the early 90's i was doing open-mikes in waco, tx (acoustic guitar) and my kids wanted to get in on the act (then ages 8 and 11) so i sampled an "ahhhh" on the little toy 3-octave yamaha keyboard and had my daughter play the backing voice parts from the song, had my son do the drum parts on his little toy 4 pad yamaha drum machine, and i played guitar and sang. it was a great hit and we spread the word of bob-dom in waco wherever we played (which wasn't very many places). i even had one guy come up and say "hey, isn't that a bobs song?" my old college roommate stopped in from hawaii last year and i showed him the lonesome pine video and he was so impressed he went to see you guys in hawaii a few months back and called me to tell me about it. i could hear his kids singing and dancing around in the background to one of your albums. so, keep up the good work and i am sincerely hoping to see ya'll in austin on my wife's birthday, april 19. (which is also the anniversary of 1. the davidian compound fire and 2. the oklahoma bombing. but don't let it worry you that you will be rite there at UT near the tower. that sniper thing was a long time ago and i'm sure it won't happen again. could it?)

Good web page for an awesome group. Some random comments I'm going to throw together: 1. Please come back to the east coast sometime. 2. WatchFOBS said there was a contest for song titles; I expected to something about it here? 3. I think a great project would be for a Bobs concert album. Make that a double :-) Your studio albums are very enjoyable but the live shows are just on a whole other level for me. Or, include some live tracks on the next album (hasn't been done since My I'm Large, I believe.) 4. Keep up the good work. Matt Diamond

I've seen you live now 3 times in the past couple years and, well, you ... you light up my life ... with SONG... Bought your CDs, and your songbook; wish you'd pay somebody to transcribe these things you do so your devoted singing fans like moiself can be "Too Many Bobs" and live vicariously through your vocal arrangements... I hope your personnel change serves as a point of reenergization rather than a letdown. Well, it'll probably be both, and probably should be. What the hell, I don't know what I'm talking about, I just enjoy your music and your inimitable style. Bob On!

The Bobs live on! Welcome Lori Bob. I think a Colorado appearance would be very cool. I guess we'll have to fight our way to the front of the line, since every self respecting wants to see "The New Bobs!" How about Febuary at the Denver Zoo? We promise to turn the heat on for you and get you a 50 degree day.. :)

I love you all. I was turned on to you by a friend back in 1986, I believe. I heard The Bobs and was hooked! It wasn't until '89 that I had the opportunity to see you in concert at UCLA with Duck's Breath Mystery Theatre. You ruled! I especially loved your encore, which was "Innagoddadavida." Speaking of which, is that on any of your albums? Please forgive me for not owning them all. Anyhow, I do have the first three, and I've found over the years that singing along at the top of my lungs with you is great fun, and a stress reliever, as well. Once again, I love you guys, and I hope to get to see you perform again soon!

I recently bought "Plugged" and it is my new favorite. I also love "My I'm Large", but the first album needs a few more hearings, I think. You people inspire me. I saw you once in the late 80s you were great.

We saw your NEW YEARS show at the Alex Theatre. You were great but the sound system sucked. We were in the 8th row center and we could hardly distingish the words. Luckily, we knew them all anyway because we have seen you about 8 times but I think most of the audience had never heard you before. Janie we are going to miss you! We love you guys!!
