saw your show tonite at the Barclay Theatre in Irvine and it was almost as good as last year. the fact that our seats were not up front and the fact that I hate Christmas only slightly lessened the experience. Joe Bob has a pretty good throwing arm! Credit must also go to Janie Bob for a sturdy popping finger. Great show, thanks!

Today -- 11/29/96 -- I discovered "The Bobs". Y'all are great! I bought the "Songs For Tomorrow Morning" CD. I found this web page, and I see that I'm going to be spending a lot of money buying all of your CDs. I looked at your concert schedule, and didn't find anything even remotely close to Charlotte. I first experienced Bob bliss while watching PBS late one night, the Lonesome Pine Special. I could not get them out of my head. The next day I had to find out where to buy their stuff. (I wonder why?) I have educated my three kids about the Bobs. They listen to the Bobs in the car to and from school, piano, dance lessons, etc. They know all the words, and some of the harmonies, too. My daughters and I saw the Bobs/Isos in concert at MU, twice. I never thought MU was avant garde enough to book them, but I was elated when then did! The youngest girls like Banana Love, Shoes, Particle Man. We always want to hear more. Thanks for everything, Bobs. Come to Columbia again, please, its been too long!

My friends and I saw you guys play in Seattle (actually, some small city outside of Seattle), and you are better than awesome! We even bought your arrangement-book, and are working on Johnny's room. Hey BoBs! We're Bob fans here in Buffalo and wish you would come back sometime soon. When we saw you in concert here a couple years ago we were touched by your hanging out with us audience types after the show. My wife and I thought that was so sincere. I can remember in college when Harry Chapin would perform, at the end of the show he would actually invite the audience to come up to his hotel. I never went but friends said he ordered up some kegs and hung out with the students (like a regular guy) xXThanks for great music, we've turned many folks on to you.

Saw you guys at the University here last week. We were the people in the front row with the 2 kids making all the noise. Also, got to meet you after the show. Every day my 5 year old asks me to play the "Plugged"CD as I'm driving him to school. He particularly loves the song about Elwood and one of my favorites is the one about the BarBQue-the song preceeding Elwood.Sounds like some definite Frank Zappa influence. Y'know, we have a band on our HYPE Record label here called "A Band of Bob's", mabye we could team 'em up for a BOB TOUR...??? Maybe even get "BOB"by McFerrin to headline...??? What'da think..?? And did you stop to think that the aycronym for "Band Of Bob's" is BOB !!!!??? Coincidence...???? I think NOT !!! There's more to this than just "bobbing" for applets.......... Anyway, we're an Audio/Video Production Studio located here in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. It gets a little lonely down here sometimes and we tend to go surfin' now & agin'. Just sit here and watch eagles fly by my controlroom window sometimes....... Y'know after a session it's hard to wind down. So I was killin' time at 2AM and found your site and thought............ "Wow"! A band after my own heart (and name).... gotta' check 'em out and Lo & Behold it's a cool site about an ACapella band doing songs I wuz brought up on. Just turned FIVE-0 with The Mouse in sunny Florida 20 days ago. Took the new convertible. 10 days of Sun. Now I'm home, it's cold as #*&^, and I don't wanna' go back to work so I'm playin' hookey. I still think these are the best vocalists in the industry. I am an old fan, Seen you kids in Portland twice, have most of your albums, although the last two I don't have yet. I Still wait for their concert at the Holt center in Eugene. I'll miss Janie Bob's fishnets.-yow! I still think you should cover some of the stuff off the BeachBoy's smily-smile album. they could use the demonstration of how to do it.-How about Brian Wilson as a 4th. Like everyone else, I was very saddened to hear about Janie Bob's departure (maybe you can do a David Lee Roth-like guest appearance soon? With better results?) To me, the Bobs has been like a singing Seinfeld (who's who should be obvious.) Won't be the same without Elaine. Also: has anyone found TMS CD in Manhattan? I've had no luck so far. It's kind of hard to ask around, because nobody else I know knows who the Bobs are (a geographic aberration, no doubt.)

I was very sad to hear that Janie was leaving. I will cherish "Too Many Santas" as I have been Santa a few times, and knowing it's Janie's last album makes is that much more special. "Fifty Kilowatt Tree" is a real hoot! Thanks, guys.

I just want you to know I saw your concert recently in Portland at the Aladin Theater. I brought a friend with me, who is now an avid Bob's fan......she bought all your CD's after the concert and is shipping them to her husband in Japan so he too can become a huge fan.
