Used to sit up all night playing canasta and listening to Bobs. Finally saw you courtesy of a friend in a ticket office and have been more than hooked ever since. Friends curse me for introducing them to your twisted delights. Added checks for Janie at a KC engagement, which has been the highlight of my life. Have Joy!

Hi, guys. Am finally on line -- & tracking you down. Assume you still hold my mortgage fondly. What's this about your doing a joint concert with The Nylons in CA in October? Could be very hot. Be in touch. I've got The Nylons coming in to Duke Sept. 28. We'll talk.

I went to my third Bobs concert at Crown Center, you four amaze me more each time I see you. First, sign a poster, to me, then sing a song to me, and lastly, give me hospitality like I were the singers and you were the groupies. You are amazing.

Yeow! I'm a member of the Santa Cruz acapella band: The Jelotones. We've appreciated THE BOBS; their talents and craziness, for many, many years. My favorite show was in about 1988 at The Town Crier, a popular folkie club in central NY. We drove from Connecticut through a raging snowstorm to get there... and it was well worth it! Thanks guys for all you inspirational work. And hello to Gunnar-Bob, wherever he is.

I had a great time tonight at the Mamaronack(sp?)concert. I've been crazy about you since the first album and have seen you on every opportunity I've had over the years. I've all your records, the two videos and a laundry bag. I was(and am) very upset to here that Janie is leaving. For selfish reasons I hope the third incarnation of The Bobs will be as successful as the first two. My best wishes go with Janie in whatever areas she decides to persue.

saw the Bobs live for the second time in my life last night at Crown Center in downtown KC, MO. The Bobs are terrific! For sheer joy and creative exuberance, only the percussion show STOMP compares to the Bobs. Thanks for a wonderful show! And i'm there if you ever come back to kc. (i talk you up to everyone i know/.) Sincerely...

Dear Bobs, Saw you guys for first time last night (July 26, 1996). You guys are wonderful. I am in a jazz quartet, and I was wondering if you had any tips on performing some of the songs you sing especially "Spontaneous Human Combustion" and "Drive by Love". E-mail is greatly appreciated Benny-Bob P.S. Everyone calls me Benny-Bob because my middle name is Robert and Benny is short for Benjamin and Bob is short for Robert, thus then name Benny-Bob

Really enjoyed the concert last night in Crown Center and glad you persevered despite the weather! It was our daughter Kara's first concert ever (she's only 7 weeks old) and she didn't cry, so she must have liked it as much as we did. The autographed CD will be a memento of her first concert. Thanks!

Bobs (and I mean that en masse): Caught your act in KC's Crown Center last night. I was greatly amused. My wife was cold becuase she dressed badly, so she was amused too but to a lesser degree. As to Joe Bob's choice of attire, the shirt was more like something one would get off the bargain rack at a Mr. Penguin sidewalk sale. I know, because I have a shirt just like that I paid $4 for. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for a great evening. We had a blast. By the way, I know you get song suggestions for covers, but how about "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana? You guys would mangle that nicely. Have a pleasant summer. PS: Mike Murphy can eat an entire cow in one sitting, so don't provoke him. GBlowfish

I am a big fan and would love to be kept current on album and performance info! I was turned on to your music by my high scool choir teacher! I spent all four years there in that choir room and your music was the tip that acapella music didn't have to take itself seriously to be good as well.

I love you guys! I first saw you at the Lime-Kiln in Virginia about four years ago. I've been addicted ever since. "Richard, I want your voice!" I really admire the talent you all possess. I especially love the vocal arrangements. I arrange myself, and I like to make what I do "Fun for every Boy and Girl" I live in Southern California now and look forward to taking my wife to see you all perform when you get into our neighborhood this November. Thanks for all the fun! James Chapman

Well, I suppose that anything I could say here would simply be a reshash of something someone else has said before. However, I shall endeavor to make a statement nonetheless. The Bobs do, indeed, rock. So much so, in fact, that they were in the inspriation for several friends and I to start our own a capella group. It must be said, though, that that as of yet none of us can match the superlative vocal extravaganza that is The Bobs.

We were turned on to the Bobs five years ago, and fell "in love." Their a capella style and musical innovation are incredible. There is no other group that even comes close to their talent. Keep up the GREAT work!

One of my all time favorite concerts was The Bobs at the Old Towne Tavern in New York. On the way to the show, I had joked to a friend that I wanted The Bobs do perform a cover of In-a-gadda-da-vida, which was the longest instrumental rock song I could think of at the time. Imagine our surprise when thye did it! Completely amazing!

Was introduce to you all by a longtime fan at a Wolftrap concert several years ago. We bought a couple of your CDs which my three year old daughter heard in the car. She instantly became a fan, has been to three concerts, and tells everyone that she wants to grow up to be a "Jane Scott Bob". What's a father to do!!
